So here's a few tips when using your pressure cooker:
1. Make sure that you have enough water in it to cause steam to build up inside the cooker.
2. Make sure that your toggle is on "Pressure" and NOT "Pressure Release."
3. Make sure that when you are releasing the pressure (not natural release), that you be very careful not to burn yourself as the pressure releases. Also, it is a good idea not to release pressure under your cabinets so that your cabinets do not get hit by the moisture. Sometimes I place a towel over the pressure valve and then turn it to pressure release. This makes it so that the steam doesn't shoot up into your face and it also protects your hand while turning.
